This year, Robocup attracted 600 competitors from all over the state. Three out of our four teams performed at a high level and qualified for the knockout rounds held at Curtin University on Saturday morning.

All of our teams made the semi-finals in senior and junior soccer and finished with the following results:

  • The Year 7 boys competed well in their division to finish fourth.
  • Our Year 10 boys had hardware issues in the final but still competed brilliantly to finish second in the senior division.
  • The Year 10 girls team struggled with hardware and software issues to finish fourth. However, they were awarded the prestigious Rio Tinto Award for outstanding effort as judged by their Engineers at the competition.

The Sacred Heart students were great problem solvers and innovators (out of necessity) and fantastic ambassadors for the College.
