Sacred Heart Netball Club fields teams in the Winter and Spring competitions at Wanneroo Districts Netball Association (WDNA). Games are played at Kingsway Sports Grounds on a Saturday (Winter) or Wednesday night (Spring). The Winter season runs in Terms 2 and 3 and the Spring season runs during Term 4.
The Club focuses on girls having fun, building friendships, inclusivity and getting some exercise. We do not grade teams and the players usually arrange their own teams which they submit to us. However, in Year 7 and for new students to the school, we will work with the players to arrange suitable teams for them.

TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK: STRENGTHEN BONDS ON AND OFF THE COURT
SHC Netball Club is not just about the game; it's about building friendships, school spirit, teamwork, and camaraderie - having fun on and off the court, engaging in team activities, supporting each other's growth, and making this Winter season unforgettable!
SPREAD THE WORD!
We believe that the more, the merrier! Help us spread the word by sharing this registration announcement with your year groups. Whether it's through social media, group chats, or word of mouth, let's make sure every netballer at SHC knows about the season ahead. Share the link and encourage your friends to join a team.
UNIFORMS
It's also time to see if last year's uniforms fit and, if they don't, please offer them up for sale. The College's Uniform Shop will have limited stock, so please make an appointment to try on new sizes. We need six weeks for uniforms to be delivered in time for the season.
NETBALL GRADING FOR YEAR 7s
We will notify parents and players when grading is on. We are currently looking for someone to grade the teams. If you can help, please get in contact with Amanda Androszczuk by emailing
We look forward to seeing returning faces and welcoming new ones on the court!
VALUES AND INTENTION
The SHC Netball Club is a school club which prides itself on fun, friendship and inclusivity. Each year, the Club registers 15 to 19 teams in the Winter League and 7 to 9 teams for the Spring season.
The Club has a Committee who, along with various school staff members, volunteer their time to help with various tasks and events throughout the year so that the students can enjoy playing the game with their school friends. The Club is always looking for additional help and there are lots of volunteering opportunities e.g. helping as a Committee Member, becoming a team Coach or Manager, volunteering at Kingsway when our club is scheduled and helping out at the end of Winter Season Wind-up evening.
Who can play?
Please note that ONLY SACRED HEART STUDENTS can play in Sacred Heart netball teams. This is a requirement of the school and a condition of using the Sacred Heart name.
Most players have played at primary school, but no previous player experience is necessary.
WDNA (Wanneroo Districts Netball Association) are encouraging all clubs to consider entering teams for the Boys and Mixed competitions, to be played on Friday nights (TBC and subject to numbers registered). Please let us know if you are interested. Girls can play in the Mixed league in addition to their Saturday games or only in Mixed if they choose.
