On Wednesday 27 March, Sacred Heart created more history by winning the 'A' Division ACC Swimming Carnival for the 9th year in succession. The margin of 22 points was the lowest for many years. The win keeps alive the prospect of achieving the 'nonatriple'- winning the three major carnivals in the one year for nine years in a row. Sacred Heart has won the last 27 ACC 'A' Division Carnivals in succession.

Without question, the team’s strength was in the freestyle events and in particular the depth of the relays. The girls had a great win in their section winning all three trophies - Junior Girls, Senior Girls and Overall Girls.

We would once again like to acknowledge the efforts of all associated with the continued success of the team: the students, Breakers coaches and the Physical Education staff who drove the bus to training in the morning.
