On Friday 17 May, our Year 11 students organised a Biggest Morning Tea at recess to raise funds for the Cancer Council. The students brought in cakes, slices, biscuits and savoury food which were sold to students and staff at recess. Young Vinnies students and staff organised and manned the stalls.

The amount and quality of food donated was outstanding and thanks are due to the Year 11 students and parents for their generosity. An amazing total of $803.70 was raised which will be sent to the Cancer Council for valuable research.

We also sold tickets in a raffle for a Captain Cook Cruise for two. Thanks to all the staff and parents who purchased tickets. The winner was staff member, Mrs Jane Pullinger. Staff also donated a gold coin at their morning tea on Monday. $596.30 was raised.

In total, $1,400 will be sent to the Cancer Council for this worthwhile cause.
