Last week, a group of students represented the College and Australia at the World Scholar's Cup Global Round in Seoul, delivering outstanding performances in a competition that challenges participants academically while fostering teamwork, communication and cultural exchange. The event, which featured students from 60 countries, emphasised the commonalities that unite people across the globe, with participants from Japan, Indonesia, China, Singapore, and Malaysia forming the majority.
The competition saw a team from a specialised school in Dubai claim the overall 1st place, but our students also made a significant mark. Competing against 1,000 students (over 300 teams) in the Senior category and 1,600 students (over 500 teams) in the Junior category, they brought home several trophies in various categories.

Mrs Tanya Atherton, Head of Gifted and Talented, expressed her pride in the students' achievements and encouraged even greater participation in the coming years. "I am thrilled that 99 students opted into the Perth Round earlier this year. Next year, I hope that more students get involved in this opportunity, develop an 'I CAN' attitude, and realise that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and a tiny bit of luck," she said.
