Sacred Heart College has our very own mobile phone application (app). This app has been custom designed to allow parents and guardians to easily access year specific notices (including the ability to enable push notifications), enter absentee notices, view the College Calendar, contact the College via phone or email, create lunch orders and view the Café menu, browse and purchase from our Online Store and have quick access to important links such as the Newsletter, College Intranets, SmartRider top-up screen, bus routes and much more! We highly recommend that all parents download this app as it will send reminders about important events.

 

The app is available as a free download on the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android).

 

Steps in configuring the app are as follows:

 

FOR iPHONE AND iPAD USERS

View this video tutorial or:

  1. Click the ‘App Store’ icon on your Apple device.
  2. Type Sacred Heart College in the search bar.
  3. Click ‘Get’ then ‘Install’.
  4. When installed, click ‘Open’.
  5. Select ‘Allow’ to receive push notifications (this is optional but highly recommended). If you do not receive this option, you can do this later (go to the settings app on your device > Notifications > Sacred Heart College).
  6. In the app, click the cog button in the top right corner (settings), add your child’s details and enable notifications for the relevant year groups. Please ensure you click the SAVE icon in the top right corner.
  7. You are now set-up and ready to go!

 

FOR ANDROID USERS

  1. Click the ‘Play Store’ icon on your Android device.
  2. Click the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen and type in Sacred Heart College.
  3. Click on the ‘Install’ button.
  4. If needed, click ‘Accept’ for various permissions.
  5. Click ‘Open’ when installed.
  6. In the app, click the cog button in the top right corner (settings), add your student’s details and enable notifications for the relevant year groups. Please ensure you click the SAVE icon in the top right corner.
  7. You are now set-up and ready to go!

Please note that you have to manually change your child’s year group and notice subscriptions in your settings at the end of each calendar year.

 

To lodge an absentee notice, the app will need to use your phone’s email client. If you are unsure if this has been configured, please follow the instructions below the form.
