We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated and high performing Mathematics Department. This is a full-time, one year contract position commencing Term 1, 2023.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Learning Area - Mathematics, the successful applicant will be a passionate Mathematics Teacher with a demonstrated ability to be a dynamic and innovative educator who engages and encourages student learning.


Responsibilities as a Mathematics Teacher:

  • Ability to teach Mathematics to students in Years 7-12.
  • Ability to teach Mathematics ATAR and General to students in Years 11 and/or Year 12 would be advantageous.
  • A willingness to support Mathematics tutoring twice a term would be advantageous.
  • Ability to be innovative in current teaching methodologies, keeping up to date with current pedagogical trends in Mathematics.
  • Work collaboratively to build rapport with students, parents and all College employees to develop respectful, inclusive and positive working relationships.

What we are seeking:

  • Highly skilled and competent in the delivery of Mathematics curriculum.
  • Experience in writing and delivering differentiated programs in Mathematics.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong practice and application of contemporary pedagogical practices.
  • The ability to promote and support a culture where students can be the best they can be (with stretch goals).
  • An awareness and appreciation for the Catholic ethos of the College.


  • The ability to teach Religious Education would be advantageous..
