We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Media Teacher to join our College. This is a temporary role, for Term 1 only, 2023 – LSL cover.


About the role:

Reporting to the Director of The Arts, you will be a creative and dynamic Media Teacher, with the ability to build rapport quickly with students to deliver the Media curriculum for term one (only).

 

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to teach year 7-12 Media (ability to teach Media – ATAR is desirable).
  • Ability to teach Final Cut Pro and other software Media programmes
  • Ability to be innovative in your teaching methodologies, keeping up to date with current pedagogical trends in Media.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to build rapport with students, parents and all College employees. Develop respectful, inclusive and positive working relationships.
  • An awareness and appreciation for the Catholic ethos of the College.

  • Excellent ability to communicate to students and parents with purpose and meaning.

Desirable

  • The ability to teach across another learning area would be advantageous, particularly in English and Humanities.
