We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated and high performing Mathematics Department. This is a full time, ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2025.

 

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Mathematics, the successful applicant will be a passionate Mathematics teacher with a demonstrated ability to be a dynamic and innovative educator who engages and encourages student learning.

 

Your responsibilities as a Mathematics Teacher include:

  • The ability to teach Mathematics to Years 7-12 students.
  • The ability to teach ATAR and General Mathematics to Years 11-12, would be advantageous.
  • A willingness to support Mathematics tutoring twice a term would be advantageous.
  • The ability to be innovative in current teaching methodologies, keeping up to date with current pedagogical trends in Mathematics.
  • The ability to work collaboratively to build rapport with students, parents and all College employees to develop respectful, inclusive and positive working relationships.

  • Highly skilled and competent teacher in the delivery of Mathematics curriculum.
  • Experience in writing and delivering differentiated programs in Mathematics.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong practice and application of contemporary pedagogical practices.
  • The ability to promote and support a culture where students are supported to be the best they can.
  • An awareness and appreciation for the Catholic ethos of the College.
