The tuition fees of younger students of a family in attendance at Sacred Heart College at the same time, will be reduced by:
• 10% for the second child
• 25% for the third child
• 100% for fourth and subsequent childrenThe College is able to offer additional concessions to holders of eligible Health Care Cards (HCC) and Pensioner Concession Cards. The maximum tuition fee payable is $1,500 per annum. Other charges still apply. Families who wish to benefit from the HCC Discount Scheme are required to provide evidence that they are holders of an eligible HCC or Pensioner Concession Card that is valid for the duration of the academic year and complete an application form. Application forms are available HERE or can be collected from the College Administration Office.
- Secondary Assistance Scheme

The Minister for Education has approved the following Educational Allowance for 2023: Years 7-12 ($235) plus clothing allowance ($115).
Eligibility for the scheme is for students whose birth date is on or after January 1997 and dependent on parent or legal guardians holding one of the following cards: Centrelink Family Health Care Card, Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card or Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card.
Application forms are available below or from the College Administration Office. Applications WILL NOT be accepted after 6 April 2023. For further information telephone the Ministry of Education on (08) 9264 4516.
- Parents & Friends Association

The Parents & Friends Association has an active role in fundraising for school amenities and teaching equipment. A levy of $90.00 per family is added to the school account. Eligible Health Care and Pensioner Concession cardholders will be exempt from this charge.
- Building Levy

Commencing in 2009, the Parent Advisory Council introduced a compulsory Building Levy per family. The levy will in part contribute to the debt servicing of the College’s existing and future building loans. This levy is not tax-deductible and for 2024 is $857. The maximum Building Levy payable for eligible Health Care and Pensioner Concession cardholders is $300.
- Building Fund

The Parent Advisory Council established a Building Fund in 1984 to receive voluntary donations which can be claimed as a tax deduction. This donation is additional to the Building Levy. If you wish to make a voluntary donation of any amount please contact Mrs Alyssa Cantrill on (08) 9246 8208 or

The completion and return of an Expression of Interest, together with the fee, registers your interest in having your child considered for enrolment at Sacred Heart College. The Expression of Interest fee ($85 per child, including GST) is payable once only and is not refundable.
- Enrolment Fee

For families being offered enrolment in 2024 and 2025, a non-refundable enrolment fee of $795 is payable, of which a portion will be credited to your first fee account. The non-refundable enrolment fee will be increasing to $855 for the 2026 cohort and following year groups, of which a portion will be credited to your first fee account.
This enrolment fee will not be refunded if a student does not commence at the College. - Withdrawal of Student

A full Term’s notice in writing must be given to the Principal before the removal of a student. Failure to give such notice will involve the payment of a Term's tuition fee in lieu of notice, irrespective of the date the student may leave during the Semester. If there is sufficient notice, fee accounts will be adjusted accordingly. There is no refund of the Building Levy, Resources Levy or P&F Levy.
- Insurance

The Parent Advisory Council has arranged a SchoolCare Personal Accident Policy to cover students for accidental injuries occurring during school activities only. Please note: general insurance companies are prohibited by law from covering the cost of any medical service for which a Medicare benefit is payable (including any gap).
The College cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal effects and property, or liability incurred by students for property damage. - Payment of Accounts

One annual account will be issued to families. Fees are payable on receipt of this account and the following payment options are available:
OPTION 1 Single instalment Fees due by 25 February 2024 OPTION 2 10 instalments Monthly payments commencing 25 February 2024 and finishing 25 November 2024 OPTION 3 20 instalments Fortnightly payments commencing 25 February 2024 and finishing 17 November 2024 OPTION 4 40 instalments Weekly payments commencing 25 February 2024 and finishing 24 November 2024

Parents in this situation will be asked to complete an ‘Income Assessment Proforma’ to assist in making a determination in each circumstance. The College Principal is involved in these deliberations. - Split Billing

The responsibility for payment of fee accounts is joint and several. Families who wish to split their account equally between two parties must provide written advice to the College, signed by both parties, authorising the account to be divided equally. The College will consider the matter on a case-by-case basis.
- Fees Not Paid

The College Accounts Administrator will contact parents who have not paid fees or have not actioned or notified their intended fee payment option by email, phone or mail. If there is no response or action to these communications, then the College reserves the right to take legal action for the recovery of fees not paid. Any expenses, cost or disbursements incurred by the College in recovering any outstanding monies, including debt collection agency fees and solicitor costs, shall be charged to the account. Continuance of enrolment cannot be guaranteed unless all outstanding fees and charges have been paid or an arrangement has been made with the Principal.

Tuition will be offered for the following:
- Woodwind – Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone
- Brass – Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, French Horn
- Piano
- Guitar – Modern and Bass Guitar
- Percussion
- Voice – Classical/Musical Theatre
Lessons are available for $35 per half hour individual lesson and with a $10 annual administration fee. Information and enrolment forms are available from the Performing Arts office. GST may be applicable to some fees.
